Online Class IV Laser Safety Officer (LSO) Course For Aesthetics – Skin Rejuvenation – Vascular – Pigmentation – Australia
Laser License for Cosmetic Doctors, Dermal Clinicians, and Cosmetic Nurses in Australia
This course is essential for obtaining a laser license and meeting compliance, regulatory, and insurance requirements. In Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia, a laser license is required to use a Class IV laser, making a laser safety course a prerequisite for application. In the ACT, NT, NSW, VIC, and SA, while a laser license is not required for Class IV lasers, it is advisable to complete a laser safety course for insurance purposes. This course aligns with Australian and New Zealand standards and laser safety regulations.
Recommended Study Time
Typically, half a day is sufficient to complete this laser therapy safety course, but students have up to one year to finish. The online course awards 2 continuing education credits, and students are welcome to start at any time.
